BST1901
Series for PCS/CDMA 1900 MHz Cellphones and Networks:

The
BST1901 is specifically designed for use with CDMA phones that operate in the
PCS 1900 Networks. Although most PCS CDMA network operators offer dual band
cellular phones to their customers, they often charge an extra "roaming"
fee when the phone leaves the home PCS network and for this reason some users
set their phones to operate on the Home PCS network only. If you are one of
these people and you want your PCS coverage to increase then the BST1901 is
the booster of choice. This booster is a bi directional amplifier that increases
receive and transmit power and is rated to deliver 2-watts of power which is
the highest power level permitted under FCC regulations.

The BST1901-series
Boosters are specifically designed be used with PCS handsets, wireless cards
and PDA's (example:Sprint). This are a specific use booster and is recommended
for use with CDMA PCS phones that are not allowed to "roam" or
in areas where CDMA1900 signal is poor. If you have a dual band Sprint phone
that you allow to "roam" and use it in remote areas the BST800
booster is recommended. This booster is recommended only if you require
PCS signal boosted. The BST1901 is the most powerful CDMA PCS booster on
the market. |

Professional
installation is not required when used in hand-held mode as shown above.
A variety of external antennas are available.
Note:
best performance and range will be achieved when used with a magnetic
or thru-hole antenna. Genuine Smooth Talker cellular antennas will produce
the best results and increase cellular range the farthest. Antenna choice
and use of antennas with ultra low-loss cables is critical because of
the very high 1900 Mhz frequency. A poor antenna and antenna cable can
nulify the beneficial effect of a booster. |
|
An
antenna adapter cable to connect to various phones must be ordered separately
and optional AC/DC power supply for use in home or office is available. The
Booster can be used with cellular wireless phones in hand-held mode as
seen in the picture above, it can be used with PDA's and wireless aircards
or it can be ordered with an installation-ready power cord and added to
a cellular hands-free in car kit. |

Size:
6.0X3.0X0.75 inches
Weight:
10.5 ounces
Note:
The RF connectors on the booster are proprietary (MCT)and an adapter is
required to use this booster with an after-market antenna. A genuine SmoothTalker
antenna is recommended with this device for best performance and range
